Senior Marketing / PR Executive

Job description / Role

On behalf of our aviation client in Dubai, we are recruiting a Senior Marketing/PR Executive.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in managing Marketing/PR strategies and activities.
- Assist in creating and implementing the annual Marketing/PR and promotional campaigns, sponsorships and special events including holidays and seasonal activities.
- Liaison with agencies on promotional collaterals and other promotional materials or campaigns and prepares the marketing briefs and reports.
- Liaison and build relationships with a range of stakeholders; e.g. media, inter departments, and suppliers.
- Input into both tactical and long-term strategic marketing plans
- Monitoring markets– alerting senior management of upcoming changes and/or trends and making recommendations on how marketing activity can be adapted to maximize new opportunities
- Generate fresh content + copywriting for company websites, blogs, social media accounts, and email marketing
- Generate new ideas and initiatives
- Manage marketing/PR budgets
- Manage internal and external resources to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and to agreed budget
- Write press releases
- Liaison with media representatives and journalists
- Prepare media kits for press events

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related Business fields.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a Marketing Communications role.
- Relevant Marketing & PR qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of Marketing & PR, with a genuine enthusiasm for both fields
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills including proof-reading, proficient in business correspondences in English
- Solid contacts across local and international press
- Creative thinker but able to use a structured approach, delivering on time and within budget
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Strong team player
- Familiar with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve and multi-task
- Confident, resilient and tenacious with an enthusiastic can-do attitude
- Good team player and prepared to go the extra mile when required
- Creative and unafraid to challenge existing ways of thinking
- Responds well to working under pressure
- Meets deadlines
