Job description / Role

Synopsis

To analyze and propose optimum levels of assigned inventory type with best practices of inventory management to meet the agreed SLA to technical's operations in the most cost-effective manner. To support inventory management including all aspects of asset management, such as operations support, investment analysis, surplus management, and database management.

Accountabilities

• Ensure timely review of open requisitions (demands) and raise appropriate orders for timely spare availability at optimum cost.
• Raise purchase, sales, and service orders to support operations and review invoices for timely payment.
• Calculate, analyze, and update the reorder levels in ERP for current assets to ensure availability of consumables to achieve set service levels and maintain adequate inventory levels at reasonable cost.
• Responsible for calculating and providing recommendations for adequate inventory levels based on demands, forecasting, and aircraft operations for all fixed assets holding including cabin, airframe, tools, and GSE. Demonstrate control on spend based on the division's strategy (asset-light vs. asset-heavy).
• Support the provisioning and scrap activities including recommendation, procurement, and maintaining the inventory based on changes in demands and fleet size.
• Monitor and stagger tools calibration to ensure availability for all maintenance activities.
• Monitor the performance of the components in accordance with guarantees provided by OEMs and aircraft manufacturers and liaise with the reliability team to get FOC spare support.
• Responsible for preparing and analyzing inventory holding and controlling related reports and dashboards.
• Liaise with various teams for spares support for lease return activities, component modifications, or any other inventory optimization activities.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or equivalent technical degree with a minimum of 5 years aviation inventory management experience.
• Experience and track record in aviation asset management, provisioning, procurement, contract management, and/or supplier management functions.
• Recommended to have knowledge of technical manuals like IPC, ITM, and MPD and be familiar with RSPLs, spare repair and warranty, OEM support contracts like SSC and PSAA along with lease return requirements.
• Self-motivated, team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Advanced level MS Excel and PowerPoint knowledge with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
