Job description / Role
Expat Engineering, Cost & Project Management Consultancy requires Senior Mechanical Engineer to work on a variety of prestigious project throughout the UAE.
The role will be split between both their offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and travel to both is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities will include:
• Design of sustainable mechanical systems for a variety of projects
• Preparation and review of mechanical engineering calculations in support of systems design
• Review design drawings and calculations
• Managing a small design team
• Acting a focal point for all contact with the client and attending all relevant meetings
• Being site based as required
Requirements
• Be degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or Similar
• Have a minimum of 10 years consultancy based design experience
• Have a working knowledge of various building services design codes such as British Standards, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, IMC and other International design codes
• Have experience using computer HVAC design tools, HAP, AutoCAD & Revit MEP
• Reside in and have experience of working in the UAE
• Have a stable career history.
As this is a extremely client focused role the successful individual should be comfortable representing the company at client interview/ meeting and have excellent written and verbal English.
