Job description / Role
Local Multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy requires Senior Mechanical Engineer to work various commercial, industrial and retail projects throughout the UAE.
Key Responsibilities will include
• Design of sustainable & energy efficient HVAC, Fire, Drainage & plumbing design projects
• Preparation of mechanical engineering calculations
• Producing drawing on Revit Software
• Righting specifications
• Managing a small team of engineers
• Managing projects
• Liaising with other members of the multi-disciplined design team
• Liaising with the client
• Attending all relevant meetings
Requirements
• Be degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or Similar
• Have a minimum of 8 - 10 years consultancy based design experience
• Have a working knowledge of various building services design codes such as British Standards, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, IMC and other International design codes
• Be proficient in Revit MEP
• Have experience of managing a team/ projects
• Have experience of writing specifications
• Have knowledge of and interest in the latest energy efficient technologies
• have good written & verbal communication skills
