Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and practices, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects. You will be responsible for leading design and development efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and efficient mechanical solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components for various projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct thorough analyses and simulations to validate designs and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and other engineering teams to develop integrated solutions.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation in mechanical design and engineering practices.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to support decision-making and project planning.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure best practices are followed.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and management, to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a master's degree or professional engineering license is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on design and project management.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical design and safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities and site inspections.
