Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Merchandise Assortment Planning, Allocations, OTB and Replenishment of stock, Invento-ry Stock Optimization, Promotions
• Monitor stock movement, consider markdowns, inter-branch transfers, promotions or clear outs Recommend retail pricing levels, decide sale lines & mark down percentage strategy
• Co-ordinate with the store & warehouse regarding the new arrival, the display material & the stock release & return.
• Assess store execution of merchandising plans, recommend optimum space management options (where applicable) based on store trends / category sales performance
• Analysing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colours or styles) and ensuring that they reach their full potential.
• Monitoring slow sellers and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary.
• Analysing the previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines; Present monthly revisions of merchandise plans
• Assist in pricing strategy, ensuring the logic, commerciality & within the brand targets for margin
• Prepare and analyse reports to determine sales/margin/profit information with recommen-dation where appropriate
• Revise the forecasting of orders quantities based on sales and stock information
• Identify /plan promotional events, & deliver in consultation with Operations & VM`s
• Pro-actively utilize available software/ systems & identify improvements / requirements for further action
• Manage / maintain stock file accuracy with a focus on auditable elements.
• Supervise the Merchandise Planners with their daily tasks and objectives

Requirements

• Senior Energetic Merchandise Planner/buyer with a strong background in fashion & footwear, with experience across GCC & MENA having below skills:
• Good written and verbal Communication
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Proficient at maths and MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint)
• Good at forecasting and paying attention to details, new and upcoming trends
• Good negotiating and influencing skills
• Commercial acumen and Product Knowledge
• Ability to multi-task whilst working under pressure
• Ability to delegate; team working, motivational and leadership skills
• Arabic is an added benefit
