Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Manager is responsible for the management of the fulfillment and reporting of Monitor information requests; and meetings and administrative needs of the Monitors. The Manager manages a team of Coordinators / Administrators and owns the SharePoint repository through which the fulfillment process is run. The Manager works closely with the Monitor Liaisons and the US Fulfillment function, and reports and escalates directly to the Head, Monitor Liaison and Fulfillment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
* Manage the UAE Regulatory Remediation Programme (RRP) Monitor Fulfillment function - ensuring all information provided to the Monitors is provided in accordance with defined timelines; all required approvals and supporting documentation is obtained; all information requests and proactive sharing is fully and accurately tracked in the Monitor Information Request Tracker; and that all escalation routes for delayed requests are followed and documented. Supports the Fulfillment team to fulfill requests as required, and has oversight of the timely completion of all Monitor meeting and interview requests and associated processes;
* Timely and accurate completion of all Monitor Fulfillment reporting and trend analysis, ensuring communication of themes to stakeholders, working closely with the Head, Monitor Liaison and Fulfillment;
* Responsible for the management and oversight of the end to end process of both the information/document and interview/meetings requests received from a Monitor,
* Effectively Manage reconciliation meetings with Monitors as required;
* Line Manager for the Fulfillment team;
* Timely and effective escalations and reporting to the Head, Monitor Liaison and Fulfillment and Program Project Steering Committees, and provision of assurance around accuracy of the tracking of requests and meetings;
* Ownership of the Monitors Fulfillment SharePoint site and ensuring all information is managed in accordance with UAE RRP, US Supervisory Remediation Programme (SRP) and Group standards; and
* Develop and maintain templates for standard communications and reporting of trends and patterns in the Monitor engagement, based on feedback from Monitor interviews/meetings and information request trends

People and Talent
* Manage UAE RRP Monitor Fulfillment Team whose primary responsibilities include fulfilment of Monitor operational requirements (requests and administration) and program management standards and documentation.
* Ensure direct reports are proactively developing and implementing standards, processes, methodologies, metrics and internal controls to support organizational objectives and mitigate risk exposure.
* Lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, development plans and reward/recognition practices.
* Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values.
* Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
* Employ, engage and retain high quality people.
* Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.

Key Stakeholders
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with SCB internal stakeholders and the U.S. Monitors.

Requirements

* Bachelor degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
* 5 or more years relevant experience as a junior project manager or similar role in a heavy change environment
* Prior audit or regulatory fulfilment experience in financial services, banking, or regulatory environment viewed positively.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and able to deal with C-Level
* Ideally any exposure with Financial Crime Compliance would be beneficial
