Play Your Part

Responsible for the correctness of revenue and receipts and ensuring that payments are collected in a timely manner in accordance with contract / credit terms. Ensuring the availability of accurate information in the financial systems.

Main Duties

Revenue & Accounts Receivable

- Coordinate and execute all the activities and ensure efficient performance of the Accounts Receivable and Revenues Function.
- Maintain up-to-date systems, policies and procedures to handle and control transactions related to Receivables and Revenue and ensure that institution's books of accounts are maintained accordingly.
- Recording of AR invoices and collections in Oracle Financial ledgers / Leasing system.
- Preparation of monthly Sales or Leasing and receivable schedules
- Complete reporting cycle confirmations (quarterly and year-end), reconciliations and closing provisions with regard to outstanding balances.
- Assisting with issues and providing information to business users relating to AR.
- Preparation of deposit slips and timely deposit of cheques and cash
- Preparation of bank letters for deposit and recall of PDCs
- Monthly reconciliation of PDCs with report from bank identifying any differences, if any, within stipulated timelines

Intercompany transactions

- Booking of intercompany entries in Oracle.
- Collection of supporting documents required for intercompany reconciliation.

Quality, Health & Safety and Environment

- Follow all relevant QHSE-IMS procedures and relevant legal requirements so that a certain minimum level of product/service quality can be guaranteed, personal health & safety, the safety of others and company assets are not jeopardized and the activities carried out are consistent with DPR's vision of environmental protection and safety

Requirements

Are You a Star?

In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:

Essential:

- Business college degree essential
- Commerce graduate, CA/CPA or equivalent preferred
- 5+ years related experience
- ERP Financials experience, Oracle preferred
- MS Excel experience- intermediate level
- Numerical acumen, good communication skills & a team player
