Key responsibilities:

• The site logistics officer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily logistics operations at the project or construction site. This includes managing the marine operation/coordination, movement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining an organized and efficient site. The role ensures that all logistics activities comply with safety standards and project schedules.
• Coordinate and manage the marine operation, cargo delivery, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment on-site.
• Monitor inventory levels and track the usage of materials and supplies.
• Work closely with site team and construction contractors to schedule timely deliveries.
• Implement and maintain traffic management plans for vehicle and personnel movement within the site.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Supervise unloading and loading of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and subcontractors for delivery schedules and logistics support.
• Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations related to logistics and material handling.
• Support waste management and recycling activities on site.
• Participate in daily coordination meetings to provide updates on logistics matters.

Essential qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience in site logistics, construction, supply chain, or a related field.
• Understanding of construction site operations and logistics challenges.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards, especially within construction sites.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics software/tools.
• Valid certifications in material handling or logistics (advantageous).
• Diploma or degree in logistics, construction management, supply chain, or related field.
• Certification in site logistics planning or related area.
