Senior Operational Risk Officer

Job description / Role

A leading Bank is actively recruiting a Senior Operational Risk Officer for their Umm Al Quwain office.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Coordinate with stakeholders on Business Continuity and Incident Management activities.
- Identify operational risks across various business functions and processes.
- Ensure effective incident resolution and follow-up actions are implemented.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce risk exposures.
- Prepare detailed risk reports including trend analysis and recommend corrective actions.

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BCM / ORM within the banking industry in the UAE.
- Business continuity management experience.
- Experience in KRI, KPI, and KCI.
- Experience in RCSA and Control Testing process.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE banking laws and regulations.
- Solid risk management experience with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, financial markets, and industry standards.
