Job description / Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Operation Supervisor for our Secure Solutions Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Project team to achieve project objectives and mange all operational activities paying special attention to customer complaints, satisfaction and employee well being.
Responsibilities includes (but not limited to) the following:
• Monitoring project progress and performance, recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.
• Investigate incidents and report to Client representative, emergency services, Operations Manager and IMC / PSBD control room and ensure that appropriate action taken for incidents.
• Ensure all guards are trained as per site instruction and maintained appropriate records of OJT (On Job Training).
• Carry out random checks of sites (day / night) to ensure security personnel are carrying out their job functions. These inspections may include but are not limited to checking the Manned security services turnout, security licenses where applicable, adherence to their assignment instructions, maintenance of site logs etc.
• Motivate and discipline the operational team and manned security services when required in line with company policies & procedures. Visit company accommodation and communicate with personnel on a regular basis.
• Daily administrative functions will include leave planning, leave approvals, recommend for increments/ appreciation, and oversee annual appraisal process, completion of daily feedback / situation reports and manned services reports, monthly nominations for MSS Employee of the month programs.
• Update, compile post and site instructions. Verification of duty rosters every 7 days.
• Ensure all correspondence with customers are dealt with in a professional manner in line with G4S policy and within 24 hours of receipt.
• Ensure the assigned company property phone, vehicle, machinery ,appliances, tools etc, used responsibly for work requirements only and kept well maintained at all times.
• Carry out manned hour’s analysis and provide explanation on variances.
• Prepare a annual training plan for your team and coordinate with training dept. to deliver the training.
• Follow up with clients to ensure contracts are signed and renewed to safeguard G4S interests.
• Ensure good relations are maintained with all members of staff at all levels.
• Adherence to HSE and Quality Management System procedures and its performance
Requirements
• Diploma / Degree in any discipline from a reputable university
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory or managerial level experience in the field of security services, or in military, police or civil defense.
• Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
• Strong administration and reporting skills.
• Proficient in MS Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
