Job description / Role

Salary Up to 32,000 AED Per Month
Tier 1 civil engineering & infrastructure Main Contractor
Role is to lead the program handling communication, baseline, risks and program. P6 & UAE experience is essential as the client wish to arrange face to face interviews on Tuesday the 20th & 21st of May.

Just awarded, 28 Month contract on site to delivery earthworks, piling, horizontal concrete & drainage.
Project is valued at 910 Million AED. Manpower on site will peak at 950.
This is a repeat client that collaborate and work with this Main Contractor.
They are in the enviable position of having built 3 Projects for this client in the past 3 1/2 years.

Project is based 20 Minutes Drive from Business BAY in Dubai.

Reporting director into the senior project manager on site you will be the no1 leading the schedule & baseline with a dotted line into the Regional Head of Planning. If you are a Project Planner ready to step up into a Senior Post with UAE experience then please read on.

Key responsibilities

• Project planning and scheduling
• Resource & time management
• Progress and reporting
• Risk management
• Subcontractor coordination and extensive communication & collaboration up and downstream
• Able to present and protect the program
• Work within the leadership team to hit targets and achieve success
• Look at outputs and see where efficiency and changes can be made

Can you handle a client, baseline, changes and communicate with all parties both internal and external? Can you have a honest conversation with the Construction Management team and sub-contractors to report actual versus projected?



Duties

subcontractors assessment to program
delay analysis
providing support to distress programs that need guidance
manage a project and manage , monitor and provide all key ratios and activities to management and client

• Clear communication skills
• Degree – civil engineering
• 5 years experience on the main contracting side in the MIDDLE EAST as a Planner. Ideally UAE on relevant civil engineering & infrastructure projects
• Software experience on Primavera 6
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Preference will be given to locally based candidates that can attend face to face interviews

PACKAGE

• Lump sum AED package from 27,00-32,000 AED per Month dependent upon skill and experience
