Senior Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring effective project controls, analyzing progress, forecasting delays, and supporting decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
The role supports time, cost, and performance management, with responsibilities adjusted depending on whether the engineer is working in a PMC, Developer, Consultancy, or Client Representative environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in planning for buildings, infrastructure, utilities, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and project controls tools.
• Experienced in FIDIC contracts, time-related clauses, and delay analysis.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, engineering processes, and procurement cycles.
• Certifications such as PSP (AACEI), PMI-SP, or PMP are a major advantage.
