Senior Planning Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules during the FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.
Liaise with engineering disciplines, project management, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of planning activities.
Ensure that planning and scheduling deliverables comply with project requirements, client specifications, and industry best practices.
Perform critical path analysis, identify potential delays, and provide mitigation strategies.
Regularly update and issue engineering progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves.
Provide input for resource planning, man-hour forecasting, and progress measurement systems.
Coordinate planning and progress review meetings with engineering and design teams.
Evaluate and incorporate changes into the baseline schedule and assess impacts.
Support in the preparation of monthly project reports and client presentations.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling within the engineering phase of onshore oil and gas projects.
Strong experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases.
Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Deep understanding of engineering workflows, deliverables, and document control processes.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with ADNOC standards, procedures, and reporting formats is highly desirable.
Previous work experience on ADNOC projects or with ADNOC group companies is a strong advantage.
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
