Job description / Role

Schedule/Progress
• Reviews and provides recommendation for approval and/or comments on the contractor’s schedule submissions, relying on relevant contract terms & conditions and Parsons’ best practices.
• Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships
• Develops and maintains critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information
• Reviews contractor’s schedule/progress updates, and weekly and monthly progress reports, and validates accuracy of progress data in coordination with the site team
• Records any deviations and/or deficiencies in the progress of works, and drafts notification letters to contractors highlighting the areas of concern in terms of factors affecting the schedule/progress of the works
• Ensure the Contractor is in compliance with the Contract and report any deviation
• Regularly visits the site to visualize contractor’s progress
Reporting
• Leads the development of Parsons weekly & monthly progress reports and progress presentations, taking the lead for all schedule/progress related data, and coordinating with the project team to collate other inputs (quality, safety, commercial, etc)
• Attends progress meetings and presents the progress status
• Provides input to the Client's Monthly Report related to the Planning issues
• Coordinate with the AREs who shall verify the contents of the Daily Progress Reports and provide verified data to be reflected on the original Contractors’ submission
EOT Claims
• Provide input/details (e.g. schedule dates, progress data, etc) as may be requested by the commercial/contracts team to incorporate in the response
• Reviews contractors’ submission and develops the schedule analysis to be integrated within the response/determination
Requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years’ experience in a Planning role
• Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite. Must have hands on experience in PRIMAVERA Software
• Fluency in Arabic and English is essential
• Experience in Roads and Infrastructures projects is essential
