Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:

Main purpose of this position is to develop and lead Vehicle Pricing process for the Middle East region for current and future vehicle programs. Lead strategic and tactical initiatives for the region and advise leadership on maximizing product profitability. Develop and optimize regional Fleet incentive budget by working closely with Fleet team.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position are broken down as follows: Local (applicable to the MEO only), Regional (applicable to GMI) and Global (applicable across GM-defined regions)
Local (100%)
• Develop and lead vehicle pricing process for existing and future carlines in close coordination with Marketing, Product Planning and Sales departments, responsibilities includes :
• Analysis of price trends in Middle East Market for Competitors and MEO products
• Analysis of vehicle content and features for GM vehicles vs competition
• Provide assistance to Marketing and Product planning teams for development of feature pricing based on customer perceived value
• Provide periodic analysis of top line/ revenue performance vs Business Case and Budget pricing assumptions, provide input to FP&A Finance team on root cause of variances and future trends
• Evaluate Market growth opportunities and provide Variable Profit maximization opportunities to Vehicle Sales and Marketing Teams
• Communication of GM Dealer and Transfer Pricing information to the Vehicle Invoicing teams in North America and MEO marketing teams
• Ensure invoicing accuracy, resolve incorrect invoicing claims and provide timely feedback to all stakeholders on pricing related issues
• Identify pricing and profit maximization opportunities thru trim mix improvement and option pricing
• Work closely with fleet teams to optimize Fleet incentive spending

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:

• Over 5-years of experience in Automotive Product Pricing (Operations analysis/ Business Planning is an advantage) in a multinational company
• Knowledge of corporate finance principles including net income statement analysis, familiar with basic Accounting principles
• Budgeting and Forecasting background and variance analysis
• Experience in business strategy
• Additional Marketing/Sales experience is an advantage.
• International experience (ability to negotiate and work effectively with people from other cultures)

Education:

• Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Finance or Accounting (or similar field) from a reputed university. MBA preferred.
