This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Senior Process Engineer (Chemical) - Automation with a proven track record for a high-profile client.

The key objectives for this role are:
Responsibilities
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Be part of the PMT client team overseeing EPC contractors
- Oversee the development of process control requirements carried out by the EPC contractor, which includes control and operating philosophy, cause and effects charts, process control narratives, HAZOP, and general control requirements
- Provide technical leadership to develop and update process control technical work practices in line with industrial standards
- Be responsible for the coordination and progress of process control design for one or more projects, as assigned
- Liaise with suppliers' representatives and other departments on all matters relating to process control design for assigned projects
- Carry out dynamic simulation and surge analysis studies
- Provide consultancy after contract award with the client in assessing or assisting in the definition of process control user requirements

Expected:
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, mainly in offshore upstream projects
- Minimum of 5 years proven capability in an engineering design company
- Demonstrated leadership experience and previous track record of successfully working in a PMC team
- Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
- Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
