Senior Procurement Specialist

Job description / Role

We are currently recruiting a Senior Procurement Specialist on behalf of an industry leading client who are headquartered in Dubai. The key purpose of this role is to ensure maximum value is derived from purchase expenditure whilst ensuring continuity of supply. This is an excellent opportunity to further your procurement career within a prestigious organisation.

Requirements

Applications are sought from those with at least 10 years of purchasing experience gained in the Oil & Gas industry. This is absolutely essential. It is also required that you have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role and within a similar sized organisation. You will be proficient in handling high value complex procurement agreements and be a firm negotiator with an excellent knowledge of the vendor market. It is also vital that you are highly proficient on Oracle ERP. You will have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant subject and have an excellent command of written & spoken English.
