Senior Procurement Specialist

In this role, you will:

Manager to plan and prioritize purchasing activities.

- Do strategic procurement methodology, spend analysis and category purchases
- Work with business and delivery teams to plan and execute procure to pay cycle
- Interface with procurement team to plan and prioritize purchasing activities
- Work on RFI/RFP/RPQ, tendering and contract management process
- Review planned purchases, create requisitions for purchased items, process purchases and manage approval process and then issue approved purchase orders and supporting documents to suppliers/vendors
- Track purchase orders order acknowledgement with suppliers, prepare and communicate lead times, delivery dates, shortage and backlog reports, and provide visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers
- Review, update, and maintains purchase orders until they are closed
- Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships
- Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts; reports non-conformances
- Lead finance, users and logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies
- Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies
- Contribute to consolidation, reduction, and rationalization of the supplier base

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management/IT/Science
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Good English comprehension skills

Desired skills:

- CIPS Level 4
- Experience on Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and under tight time lines
- Multitasker and able to handle additional work tasks
- Clarity and focus with ability to structure abstract information
- Ability to bring insights from the purchase and spend data
