Job overview

As a Senior Product Manager - Open Finance at Emirates NBD, your role is to identify, define, and lead the design of new Open Finance and Embedded Finance use cases, including frameworks, scope, product features, business models and customer journeys, ensuring they are aligned with the bank's strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer, partner, and product needs into structured business flows and requirements for implementation
• Support translation of Open Finance/Embedded Finance vision and objectives into a pipeline of strategic use cases
• Act as a central coordinator across internal teams (product, tech, legal, risk, compliance) to assess feasibility and ensure alignment
• Provide Open Finance/Embedded Finance expert input and challenge into partner selection, product design, business model creation, and project delivery alongside Product, Tribe and Technology teams
• Support the development of business cases and value tracking of Open Finance/Embedded Finance use cases
• Enable consistent, compliant, and customer-centric use case journeys across embedded channels and third-party ecosystems
• Be responsible for ensuring the scalability and sustainability for Open Finance/Embedded Finance use cases
• Define and validate Open Finance/Embedded Finance use case-level data needs and structures, and coordinate data feasibility of use cases with CIE
• Analyse data from product/use case adoption, operations/service requests, industry benchmarks and customer feedback to improve solutions and services
• Manage stakeholders across Emirates NBD including Product, Technology, CIE, Compliance, Risk, Digital Office, etc.
• Manage junior Open Finance/Embedded Finance team members and provide line management, mentoring and support

Skills and experience

• 10+ years experience in banking in a business, product, or strategy function
• 4+ years experience in Open Finance, Embedded Finance, or API-led initiatives
• Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Computer Science or related field; MBA preferred
• Excellent analytical and user experience skills to help design the products and end-to-end experiences
• Strong understanding of API-based business models and monetization frameworks
• Technical skills in open banking APIs, open banking implementation, specifications and standards
• Ability to translate customer and product needs into functional requirements
• Ability to communicate insights in an engaging way to stakeholders at various levels
