PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a seasoned program manager to lead and drive initiatives that align Payfort with Amazon across geographies, strategizing and shaping our long-term vision.

· You will own major deliverables end-to-end, drive roadmaps, and provide leadership to program stakeholders, as well as to program managers that will report into this role.
· Responsible for the overall development and implementation of the solution and managing complex projects, such as the launch of Amazon Pay, High Frequency Use Cases, etc, that serve major parts of the business.
· Work with internal (i.e. product, technology, legal, etc.) as well as external teams (schemes, banks, etc.) in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities to merchants that help them succeed in their business goals.· Instill best practices and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
· Lead projects that are business critical, and may be global in nature. Lead other program managers for large projects. Prioritize effectively, plan projects and features, manage internal and external senior stakeholders to achieve strategic organizational objectives.
· Partner with (advise and support) the global process owners, Site leaders, Operation managers in identifying, defining and executing various process improvement projects to achieve Operational Excellence; enhancing processes, systems and controls.
· Demonstrated capability to provide in-depth payments operations leadership to agile teams.
· Develops and/or influences new ideas/approaches. Establishes procedures, plans and practices which promote the adoption of appropriate solutions and sustainability of desired results in complex operational environments. Develops strategies to enhance decision making.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 10 years of Project/Program Management experience.
· Large scale project management experience in leading multi-organizational initiatives, and driving team accountability to achieve goals.
· Demonstrated ability of working in complex cross cultural environments to drive business process change.
· Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
· Experience in the MENA region.
· Demonstrated ability to lead a team to accomplish challenging goals
· Proven verbal and written communication skills, presenting to senior executives.
· Demonstrated ability to deliver both strategic and tactical results from inception to completion.
· Excellent planning and execution skills. Meticulous and methodical, detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to dive deep and ask the right questions.
· Proven track record of achieving insight through analytic or quantitative methods.
· The ability to handle multiple competing priorities.· Bachelor's degree required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Graduate degree (Master's / MBA).
· Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
· Certified Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus
· 15+ years' professional experience in payments, e-commerce, retail or service industry.· Prior knowledge of payment processing operations.
· Strong influencing and negotiation skills
· Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.
· Demonstrated capability to provide depth and breadth technical leadership to agile teams.· Skills to evaluate external research data to analyze the trends and key insights in broader market.
· Analytical skills to mine internal Amazon data to identify opportunities for improvement.
