Senior Project Architect

Job description / Role

Randstad is working with an award winning architectural practice in the search for a highly skilled Senior Project Architect to lead and manage architectural projects within the dynamic hospitality and residential sectors in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring innovative design solutions, oversee project execution, and ensure the delivery of top-quality architectural services that meet our clients' vision and standards.

Due to projects moving into schematic design stage, the ideal candidate will have strong experience from SD onwards, taking projects in the Middle East to IFC stage. Residential and hospitality experience would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of architectural projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve project milestones.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and design teams, promoting professional growth and quality work.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve design or construction issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into projects.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project architecture within the hospitality and residential sectors.
- Strong knowledge of local UAE building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Proficient with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills to effectively articulate design intent.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
- Creative thinker with a passion for delivering innovative architectural solutions.
- Fluency in English is required

Salary:
AED 28,000 to 32,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
