Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and project objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and provide solutions to mitigate delays.
- Prepare recovery programs, coordinate with engineering disciplines, procurement services, etc., and provide recommendations to limit impact on project timelines.
- Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement services, and construction management teams to integrate and coordinate schedules across all project phases.
- Lead planning and coordination meetings, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure schedule alignment among all project stakeholders.
- Track and update project milestones, key deliverables, and timelines, ensuring accountability across all teams.
- Prepare progress reports, including critical path analysis, earned value analysis, and forecast updates.
- Conduct project schedule risk analysis.
- Ensure compliance with planning and scheduling standards and guidelines, tailoring them to project-specific requirements.
- Manage schedules effectively by utilizing planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and provide accurate data-based forecasts.
- Provide support for project change management processes by evaluating the impact of proposed changes on the project schedule.
- Provide support for project cost control and cost management processes by utilizing EVM and KPI reports.
Skills
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Good knowledge of different design phases, construction phases, and authority submission requirements.
- Previous ADNOC project experience is preferred.
