Job description / Role
G4S is currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer for our Electronic Security Systems Division (ESS). Reporting to the Project Manager the successful candidate will be a part of a multi-cultural team of Engineers, Technician, Helpers and will be responsible for timely installation of multiple projects of Low-Current Systems like CCTV, access control, gate barrier, intruder alarm etc.
Responsibilities / accountabilities includes but not limited to the following:
- Interacts with the customers and consultants during the execution of the project.
- Prepare method statement, engineering drawings, as built drawings etc to support execution and commissioning of the project
- Provide technical support to the team and maintain documentation as required to execute the project
- Execute the project within the agreed time frame with the client.
- Interact with suppliers/OEM for pricing and technical input
- Provide timely information for raising invoices
- Help collection team in collection during the execution of the project
- Should have good understanding of best practices adopted for project delivery and execution.
Requirements
- Engineering degree/diploma holder in Electrical, Electronics or its equivalents
- Minimum 5-7 years experience with 2-4 years experience in handling execution of large CCTV installation projects.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of Security systems like Access control, CCTV, intercom, gate barrier, intruder alarm system, etc.
- Must possess strong execution acumen
- Project execution with an understanding of project reports and operational controls.
- Good knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and MS Projects.
- Strong English communication, verbal and written
- Have pleasing personality and hardworking
- Knowledge of local laws will be added advantage.
