Senior Project Manager

Job description / Role

Job Purpose:
• Strategic oversight, the ability to craft and deliver mobile solutions and products based on cutting edge technology and innovation in areas Retail and online Trading.
• As a Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental the end to end delivery of various projects, developing the delivery roadmap and execution as well as leading, building and directing our engineering teams.

What you will do:
• Responsible for planning, coordinating and leading efforts related to the delivery, strategy and software development of mobile applications.
• Directs and oversee software engineering function in developing, releasing, and maintaining software applications and backend systems.
• Manages multiple teams which design, develop, and support company applications and platforms.
• Oversees each technology project life cycle from conception to completion, with emphasis on technical efficiency.
• Work cross functionally and form and manage strategic relationship with various product owners and stakeholders.
• Creates and delivers product and feature roadmaps within multiple platforms.
• Partners with leaders to identify and plan capabilities necessary to meet short and long-term business needs.
• Responsible for the complete technical team budget Works closely with the Customer support team, Data scientists, operations team and procurement.
• Demonstrated success in delivery of highly complex projects with geographically distributed teams
• Should be expert in Agile Methodologies and should have successfully delivered various Agile based products.
• Should also be able to play the role of Product Owner.
• Drive for continuous improvement in performance, scalability, extensibility, reliability, usability, and availability of the platform.
• Leverage agile methodology concepts for quality, delivery and continuous improvement.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and other engineering directors to create and maintain a digital roadmap.
• Coaching and career development for staff.
• Should actively be involved in hiring process
• Will be responsible for the “People Management” of the Team

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience with 5 more years in project manager / delivery manager role.
• Experience developing technology across multiple platforms including mobile applications.
• Ten or more years in software engineering experience.
• Nice to have experience with AWS and other cloud technologies.
• Ability to build relationship and good communication
• Excellent technical and business vision.
• Experience working with mobile applications and software.
• Thought leadership, proven experience in a dynamic Agile/Lean environment.
• Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and have the ability to know and communicate technical information.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Highly organized and able to multi-task.
