Overview of the role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible to successfully deliver multiple medium to large projects on time and within budget, ensuring that the project objectives are met. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate with impacted business units and groups to manage change effectively to facilitate the realization of planned business benefits
What you will do
- Manage one or more cross functional projects and/or Agile PODs of medium to high complexity while adhering to the EIT agile project management methodology
- Deliver value to the business owner / group through time to market delivery of products and services
- Responsible for preparing and tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and resources from inception to service transition
- Identify and manage risks & issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive project closure activities effectively including financials
- Adopt Agile Project Management practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach the team in agile principles and Scrum process
- Effectively mobilize and manage project resources (manpower, equipment & material) and integrate the team to shared goals and collaboration through the entire project
- Allocate and assign work assignments to resources in conjunction with the Engineering Heads
- Identify and manage key stakeholders with different levels of influence on the project
- Manage relationships with System Implementation vendors, optimize engagement and drive the end to end delivery of project outputs
- Facilitate/Support the change management aspects by demonstrating high level of maturity & leadership skills
- Overall project governance and direction, implementing course corrections as needed. Focus on project monitoring & control of schedule, scope and budget, team integration, change and corrective action as needed.
- Focal point for the project communications to sponsors, stakeholders and Project steering committee

What equips you for the role
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field; Project Management Certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum. Agile (Scrum/Safe) certification.
- 15+ years IT Experience, including 10+ years demonstrated experience in successful delivery of medium to large scale projects in a Project Manager role; experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions including responsibilities over project cost management.
- Must have exposure in successful delivery of Agile projects. Candidate should have a good hands-on experience on project delivery using Waterfall, Agile & Hybrid models.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for task and communication management. Exposure to Microsoft Projects Online will be an added advantage.
