Senior Project Manager - Regulatory Reporting - Finance Transformation

Job description / Role

Based in Dubai , this role is for Senior Project Manager - Regulatory Reporting Projects to support Finance Transformation. The role holder will have exposure to senior management (UAE, Region and Group) and multiple internal and external stakeholders (including the Regional CFO/CRO, lines of business, Risk, Regulators and External Auditor).

The purpose of the role is to:
• extend support to Finance Regulatory Reporting to deliver reporting solution for DFSA reporting. This includes maintaining end to end project plan, analyzing data requirements and data sources; build, test and implement data, calculation and reporting solution.
• This includes support to BAU team covering Prudential Regulatory reporting including RWA reporting, delivering regulatory changes (project based team covering enhancements); and leading the engagement with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

• Subject matter expertise in Regulatory reporting with thorough understanding of Basel rules, CRDIV, CRR and other rules published by various regulators.
• Experienced with project management transformation programme
• Strong understanding of the Regulatory Reporting processes
• A proven ability to lead and deliver change.
• Excellent analysis skills, with ability to structure problems and find solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, Programme)
• A growth mind-set focussed on delivering effective and efficient solutions for the good of the Bank.
• Ability to form effective relationships and influence at the most senior level in the organization.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management and change to a wide range of stakeholders
• Experience of effectively working with regulators
• Ability to make robust/tough decisions which may be contrary to the business wishes and ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Member of a professional accounting body e.g. ACA, CPA.
