A leading Facilities Management provider in Dubai is looking for a senior proposals manager to join their team in Dubai.
Position Overview:
The Senior Proposal Manager is the focal point for planning development, preparation, and submittal of all proposals in response to Requests to Tender or Quote. He is the primary point of contact with customers during the tendering and proposing process coordinating closely with the Chief Commercial Officer who has overall responsibility and ownership of the customer relationship. The Senior Proposal Manager coordinates all activities of the departments who have input into the proposals process including Operations, Human Resources, Procurement, Legal, Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in the business development and proposal process and ensures that commercial and technical offers provided to clients are competitive
- Develops and authors proposal narratives and supporting illustrations to demonstrate valu-added solutions to clients
- Develops concepts and graphical representations to demonstrate key discriminators and key beneifts of our technical and commercial proposals
- Coordinates with other MAB departments and team members supporting the proposal including branch operations to obtain data required for proposal submittals
- Ensures commercial and technical proposals are in compliance with all Tender instructions, guidance and documentation.
- Defines proposal deliverables and uses own knowledege of the business to facilitate their completion with all involved in the proposals process.
- Develops and/or supports pricing strategies to deliver competitve commercial offers.
- Maintains pricing models, historical pricing data and conducts benchmarking to ensure pricing remains competitive in the areas we operate
- Responsible for contract negiotiations and manging contract modifications and variations in coordination with Operations
- Supervises and coaches other members of the commercial department assigned to the proposal team.
Requirements
- Typically has at least 5 years experience in business development, project execution or financial management including experience in the facilities management industry.
- Has an undergraduate degree in a technical or business related field and has strong analytical, communications, and organizational skills
- Must have strong English communications skills with English as native tongue
