Senior Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Job description / Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our team at a leading main contractor in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance are maintained throughout all stages of our construction projects

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and policies in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits on-site to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Review and approve quality control documentation, including method statements and inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
• Lead quality training sessions and workshops for project personnel to enhance awareness and adherence to quality standards.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and relevant regulations to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC engineering within the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in managing QA/QC for large-scale construction projects, particularly in the UAE.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
