Job description / Role
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be part of the specialist and carpentry and joinery.
The Quantity Surveyor will have responsibility for all commercial aspects on a number of projects particularly income and expenditure to maximise profit margins and monitor budgets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparation of project budgets, checking projects contracts, administering projects Contracts.
• Measurement of project to check quantities against tender allowances.
• Ensure an awareness of key responsibilities under the contract; ensure regular agreement of site instructions with the client. Ensure payments are received on time in accordance with the contractual payment terms; ensure retention monies are released when due.
• Prepare and discuss the final account for projects. Negotiate and agree final accounts.
• Prepare monthly Cost Value Reports.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor at intermediate or Senior level.
• Able to deal well with people at all levels including clients as well as suppliers.
• Knowledge or experience of Fit-outs, refurbishments and have dealt with carpentry and joinery
