Senior Quantity Surveyor
Salary 30-35k AED per month
Dubai
My client is a construction company based in Dubai looking to hire a contracts manager.
Responsibilities:
- Measurement of Quantities
- Checking of Bill of Quantities
- Monitor budgets to ensure all legitimate contract costs are recovered
- Prepare and issue contractual programmes
- Ensuring the project teams have the resources & support required to deliver excellent projects for the clients.
- Ensure completion dates are met and that developments are adequately resourced
Requirements
10 years’ experience
Contracting company background
Based in UAE
FIDIC contract experience
Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualification
Pre and post contract knowledge.
Experience of cost forecasting and reporting, cost control, cost risk management, advising on procurement options, procurement documentation preparation, contract documentation preparation, contract administration and contract documentation.
Good general commercial awareness.
Use of computerised measurement packages.
Good team player.
Able to act on own initiative.
Preference but not essential:
