Senior Quantity Surveyor

Guildhall, a leading recruitment agency, is delighted to be partnering with a prestigious General Civil Contractor in Dubai, specializing in the construction of VIP residential projects across the UAE. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts for VIP residential projects
- Analyze project tender documentation and perform risk assessments
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop procurement strategies and negotiate contract terms
- Monitor and control project expenditure to ensure financial performance aligns with budgetary constraints
- Prepare and submit interim payment applications and manage the valuation process
- Assess, manage, and resolve contractual claims, variations, and disputes
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to schedule and quality standards
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management and clients
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quantity surveying staff

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 22,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction laws and regulations
- 3+ years experience on Villa Construction is a must
- Proficient in using cost management software, such as Candy or CostX
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues
- Must be a proactive and adaptable team player, capable of working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Fluency in English is essential
