Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Preparation and Submission of monthly progress payments to Employers.
- Oversee the management of subcontractor payments and ensure that subcontractors are adhering to their contractual
obligations.
- Review and recommendation of Change Order, New Rates.
- Procurement of Nominated subcontractor for activation of Provisional Sum Item.
- Preparation and submission of Claims with all relevant substantiate to the satisfaction of the Employer
- Prepare & Compile Final Accounts Payment application with relevant substantiation and documents as per contract
obligations.
- Prepare material take off for (Civil & Structural), as per material specifications and develop method of measurement
suitable for the job requirement.
- Prepare comparative statements for different suppliers & subcontractors.
- Monitors material delivers and actual material consumption at site.
- Responsible Contractual Correspondence of Contractor’s & Employer.
- Quantity Take Off for all Civil elements (Manually, A-CAD) based on pricing preambles and compiling the Tender BOQ with

- Additional BOQ items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer.

- Review of tender drawings/documents for discrepancies.
- Compilation of tender/bid offer submissions.
- Prepare quantity variation as per tender & as per Site Condition
- Analyze and compare quotations received at bid stage and clarifying exclusions/qualifications within.
- Regularly maintaining Projects Cost Register, including tracking budgets, tracking variations, tracking payments, and
reporting budgetary information back to the Employer.

- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Must have 5 to 7 years Maximum of UAE Experience of Quantity Surveying in civil or construction related industry only.
- Organized, self-motivated, and creative
- Team player with a positive attitude to go the extra mile
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costing principles.
- Proficiency in quantity takeoff/preparation of variations/extension of time/final accounts/FIDIC.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
