Job description / Role
As a Quantity Surveyor specialising in Interior Fit-Out projects, you will manage the financial and contractual aspects of interior construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, on time, and to the required quality standards.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQs) for tender submissions. Review tender documents for discrepancies and liaise with consultants for clarifications.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, track costs throughout the project lifecycle, and ensure the project stays within budget.
- Conduct site surveys and measurements to obtain accurate information for cost estimation and project planning. Measure and value work done on-site and certify payments.
- Maintain communication with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that cost estimates are aligned with their expectations and project needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in estimating software, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management software. Strong knowledge of construction contracts and practices.
- Familiarity with Dubai’s building codes and regulations.
