Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing cost control, contracts administration, procurement, budgeting, variations, claims, and commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

The role ensures full commercial governance whether working with a PMC, Developer, Consultancy, or as a Client-Side SQS—protecting the financial interests of the project and ensuring compliance with contract and statutory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Cost Engineering (RICS preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, buildings, utilities, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, UAE construction law, procurement frameworks, and authority requirements.
• Professional certifications: MRICS / FRICS / PMP (major advantage).
• Expertise in cost software: Candy, CostX, Excel advanced, CCS, Prism (advantage).
