Senior Quantity Surveyor (Infrastructure)

Job description / Role

• Prepare and manage cost estimates, BOQs, and cash flow forecasts for infrastructure and utility projects.
• Handle billing, invoicing, payments, and financial reporting in compliance with project requirements.
• Administer contracts, manage variations, change orders, and claims, and ensure compliance with FIDIC and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain smooth project execution.
• Monitor and control project costs, risks, and resource allocations.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise junior QS and project teams.
• Review and approve subcontractor quotations, procurement proposals, and commercial documentation.
• Provide analytical and commercial insights to support project decision-making.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience: 8–12+ years in infrastructure, utilities, landscaping, or urban development projects; must have worked with Tier 1 or reputed Tier 2 main contractors.
• Technical Skills:
• Costing, Estimation, Billing, and Invoicing
• Contract Administration and Commercial Management (FIDIC preferred)
• BOQs, Cost Reports, Variations, Change Orders, and Claims
• Cash Flow Forecasting and Risk Analysis
• Procurement and Subcontractor Management
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Certifications (Optional but Preferred): MRICS or equivalent professional certifications.
