Description

This is a senior-level opportunity within the Financial Institutions team, based in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Originating and managing relationships with African financial institutions, leveraging an existing client book.
* Driving trade finance and FI-related business development, including syndicated loans and asset distribution.
* Leading strategic initiatives to grow the bank's African FI portfolio.
* Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders across risk, legal, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
* Depending on experience, the role may be positioned at Senior Relationship Manager or Head of FI level.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

* 10-15 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a strong focus on financial institutions and trade finance.
* Proven origination experience and an active book of African FI clients.
* Strong understanding of syndicated loan structures, trade finance products, and market dynamics.
* Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
* Fluency in English; French or other African regional languages would be an advantage.
* A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
