Job description / Role

Role purpose

Develop strong relationship with key contacts in targeted sectors/segments to source payroll salaried accounts, cross sell asset products (i.e. Covered Cards and Personal Finance) aligned with ADIB policies and procedures.

Key accountabilities of the role

• Source payroll accounts from targeted sectors/segments and achieve or exceed the assigned monthly target.
• Cross sell and source Covered Cards products from targeted sectors/segments and achieve or exceed the assigned target.
• Cross sell and source Personal Finance products from targeted sectors/segments and achieve or exceed the assigned target.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with respective employers HR/Finance/Admin within targeted government entities, multinationals, and well known large and medium corporates in addition to new establishments and Free Zones.
• Conduct marketing, kiosk, and onboarding sessions within targeted employers to market ADIB products and services.
• Participate and complete activities assigned by management.
• Maintain full awareness of product policies and procedures and ensure swift implementation.
• Visit potential employers/clients to finalize business deals within targeted turnaround time based on ADIB policy and procedure.
• Maintain full awareness of assigned products in terms of knowledge and process and ensure full adherence.
• Deliver timely and prompt service to customers.
• Adhere to stipulated office timings, follow confidentiality norms strictly, and maintain data confidentiality.
• Prepare and review Standard Credit Applications ensuring all information provided is accurate and verify authenticity of critical documents (copies of bank statement, passport, EID, salary certificate/salary transfer letter) prior to sending to the respective unit coordinator for processing.
• Follow the approval process and escalate any delays to superiors.
• Execute and process the above-mentioned product lines representing ADIB, prepare files as per checklist, and share physical files with coordinators within 24 hours of completing signing formalities with customers.
• Ensure quality of applications submitted and rectify errors or omissions if any.
• Check file activation and notify management in case of delay at card centre end.
• Maintain good rapport within ADIB (inter-department/peers) to ensure smooth business flow.
• Initiate cross-sell of other banking products on a best-efforts basis.
• Escalate customer complaints to management if any.

Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role

• Multi-product sales, payroll or employee banking experience.
• Good knowledge of retail banking service standards, sales skills, and computer skills.
• General awareness of competitors in local/regional market.
• Driving license.
