Senior Retail Leasing Executive

Job description / Role

Due to expansion, our client, a leading Property Developer (Shopping Malls) is looking to recruit a Senior Retail Leasing Executive to be based in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for retail tenant leases and the sourcing of new tenants and to conduct direct negotiation with applicants to support the leasing team.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Undertake direct lease negotiations with targeted and approved prospects.
• Actively source and secure desired retailers for the project.
• Conduct review and renewal of expiring leases of existing property
• Maximise rental income and terms from lease negotiations with tenants.
• Handle all incoming enquiries pertaining to retail leasing in a professional and efficient manner.
• Be responsible for raising the profile of the mall amongst retail community.
• Assisting & follow up for the preparation of lease documentation including Letter of Offer, Agreement for Lease and Lease documents.
• Report to senior leasing manager on a regular basis on the status of individual lease negotiations.
• Liaise with the Property legal counsel and/or advisors to ensure that all lease documentation complies with prevailing laws and regulations.
• Adhere to leasing timeline and goals.
• Responsible for maintenance of leasing financials to incorporate in business budgets and any subsequent revisions thereafter.
• Support the leasing team in achieving their targets and KPI’s for various projects

Requirements

In order to be considered for the role, candidates must possess the following key skills and attributes:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business or equivalent
• Knowledge in Leasing and Sales, specifically Retail Mall assets
• Must be based in the UAE and have experience in the UAE
