Department/Division: Sales
Reports To: The General Manager
Role Summary: To achieve company sales target by assisting and encouraging customers in finding and purchasing the required merchandise in order to maximize the company’s profit.

Main Accountabilities - Performance Measures / Success criteria/KPI
• Selling carpets to clients & maintaining excellent customer service as per instructions in order to enhance sales
• Keeping the shop and displays clean and tidy at all times.
• Taking care of the shop display and the manual pricing as per the Shop Manager instructions.
• Receive deliveries and follow the procedure to have the carpets ready for display.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, payment policies and exchanges.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer care policies, selling techniques & other related sales issues
• Coordinates in the inventory, requisition new stock and prepare merchandise for selling or consignment.
• Recommend, select and obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
• Participates in any promotional and marketing activities to enhance sales performance.

Requirements
Educational Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred in trade/business with 3-5 years experience in retail sales
• Knowledge, Technical Skills and Experience:
• Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
