ROLE SUMMARY

Averda is enthusiastic about growth. This role will help deliver exceptional growth across multiple customer segments; in both revenue and margin. The successful candidate will be energetic and results driven and assist in the expansion of the customer base. Your key focus is to develop our customer base by presenting solutions to potential customers during (pre-arranged) appointments. You have an opportunity to earn uncapped commissions on a monthly basis.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and margin growth
• Develop the complete offering of the Averda service lines to prospects
• Focused on attracting new business opportunities from new customers
• Leading sales opportunities identification, customer satisfaction improvement and business relationship enhancement
• Manages new customers’ implementation by directing company implementation resources and by managing customers’ expectations and satisfaction with the implementation process
• Continuously puts the needs of prospects and customers at the forefront of their decision making
• Gather market intelligence and sector information
• Preparing periodic customer activity reports to assist with sales forecasting
• Responsible for the smooth transition of new accounts to our Service Delivery team
• Develop sales skills and knowledge of the organization’s products, services, and customers by working closely with a more experienced sales representative or as the junior member of a sales team
• Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands
• Comply with health, safety and other corporate policies


PERFORMANCE MEASURES/SUCCESS CRITERIA

• Achieve a defined sales target on a weekly and monthly basis
• Meet a minimum of 20 new potential customers on a weekly basis in line with ARPU
• At least 6 accounts must move forward / back along the pipeline on a daily basis

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Business / Sales / Marketing or a related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years outside sales experience in a business-to business sales environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of Arabic and Urdu is desired
• Strong work ethic, time management and attention to detail
• Target driven, self-motivated and a will to succeed
• Experience in compiling tenders
• Good written, verbal and communication skills
• Proficient in the full Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other sales software packages
• Previous sales experience in the Middle East is preferred
• Good presentation skills
• Proven success in prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle, proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with decision-makers
