Employment: Full Time

About the Company:
The Company is among one of the top importers of frozen foodstuff. The company was established in 2014 and is focusing on business activities which includes Food & Beverage, Fresh, Chilled & Frozen Meat, Fish & Seafood Trading and General Trading. They supply their customers with various frozen meat products such as Chicken, Beef, Mutton, Lamb, Veal, Pork, Fish, and other Seafood products. The products are safely stored and kept in good condition in their warehouse in Dubai UAE. As part of the aggressive growth plans the Company plans to build a stronger presence in the UAE Market and also further enhance its presence in the markets within the GCC.

Role & Responsibilities :
- Primary responsibility for maintaining and growing the existing basket of customers by gaining share of purchase and through development of new customer base and new concepts for the fast evolving consumers.
- Study the market, construct and identify the target list of customers, shortlist and build a viable product pipeline for introduction in a time bound manner.
- Keep track of the changing environment and provide inputs to the Sales development team for further innovations.
- Responsible for annual budget and financial performance across teams and ownership of the P&L.
- Set annual and quarterly sales targets for the team and monitor review the same : provide guidance for course correction as required for the team to successfully achieve the sales objectives and targets
- Ensure achievement of sales targets across the targeted geographies.
- Familiarity of import procedures, costs, documentation particularly with reference to the food industry protocols..
- Review and enhance service standards based on customer feedback and conduct customer service audits to understand gaps in customer service
- Accountable for overall operational functions including evaluating Supplier relationships, product , price credit terms etc.


- Ability to work within a cross functional working culture.
- High degree of Customer Focus - Key Account Management - working with strategic accounts;
- Keen observer of trends in the marketplace.
- A very high level of problem-solving skills and a solutions mind-set - superior planning skills.
- Individual willing to roll up their sleeves and get the hands dirty
-Identifies, builds, and uses a wide network of contacts with people at all levels, internally and externally.
- Self-starter entrepreneurial attitude with high level of ownership

Skills Required:
- Astute Analytical skills, Communication skills, knowledge of maintaining a healthy Balance Sheet of the company.
- Product knowledge, Presentation Skills, Industry Knowledge, Import procedures & ability to work without overrunning the costs

Position in the Organization:
- Reports to the MD/CEO

- 7-10 years of relevant Industry experience, preferably with demonstrated work experience in building new markets, geographies, categories in food exports, managing sales team and ensuring a healthy bottom line for the company

- MBA / Master’s Degree in Exports Trade / Business Management
- 7-8 years of experience post graduation
- Strong knowledge of operations including a good understanding of financial planning
- Good grasp and understanding of the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry In UAE and GCC is a must
- Good Analytical skills, & Communication skills
