Job description / Role
We are supporting a growing Dubai based fintech start-up who is seeking talented software developers to join their growing team.
The teams are currently working on their a scalable platform to support next generation apps and services across a variety of mobile payment channels. The successful candidates will be a big contributors in developing their micro-services framework and core platform services in what will predominantly be a greenfield role.
Brief Overview of Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant distributed components, primarily using Scala
• Functional and technical spec, coding and testing and/ or application support including strong understanding of mobile and web app, high availability engineering and database technologies for mobile and web apps.
• Lead and assist in detail coding designs as well as at a code level assisting developers in their development
Requirements
• Strong knowledge and keen personal interest in emerging technologies, with demonstrable experience in Scala
• Any knowledge or experience within m-commerce, mobile payments, Payment processing or in software coding and development for alternative payment methods.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build and deliver complex, successful web and mobile services
