Senior Site Structural Engineer (Supervision)

Job description / Role

• Monitor Site activities to ensure quality, safety and progress of work to be in compliance with contract requirements.
• Knowledge of Etabs, STAADPRO, SAFE, SAP2000, Prokon and RAM Concept Design software.
• Carry out daily site inspections to ensure work is in compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor construction progress on daily basis and report to the management on the progress of all project activities
• Issue NCRs
• Review and comment on structural calculations, method statement, material submittals, shop drawings, subcontractors prequalification and as built drawings.
• Assist Project Manager/RE in administration, scheduling, cost control and processing RFIs.
• Review weekly and monthly reports presented by Contractor and present to Project Manager with comments.
• Review and approval of Contractor's payment certificates and variations.
• Coordination with Clients, Contractors, Sub contractors, external consultants and dealing with authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Civil)
• An ideal Candidate should have min 10 years experience working in similar role.
• Candidates who are well acquainted with the job description mentioned above only need to apply.
• Should be acquainted with site procedures including liaising with various authorities.
• Familiar with local authority regulations & international codes such has BS, ACI, UBC, IBC, AISC, ASCE etc
• Should have High Rise building experience including piling, post-tensioning, precast and steel work
• Preference will be given to Candidates who have 5 years+ working experience with Consultancy firm
• Should be available locally for interview
