Senior Software Engineer

Job description / Role

A reputable and well-established Technology company is actively recruiting a Senior Software Engineer for their team in Abu Dhabi.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Lead and manage DevOps practices.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance software, database solutions and mobile applications.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems and make recommendations for improvements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, testing, and coding standards
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the software development field.

- Postgraduate in Computer Science or similar or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience in .NET Core and .NET Framework development, Entity Framework, API development, and database management.
- Experience with low-code platforms (i.e. APEX).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience working with security protocols and integration tools related to Pulse Secure or other MDM solutions.
- Expertise in mobile frameworks (i.e. React Native or Flutter).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes).
