We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and support business-critical systems that enable reliable service delivery at scale. This is a hands-on role with meaningful ownership, working closely with product, operations, and leadership teams in a service-driven environment.

This is a reliability-and-ownership environment, where stability, judgement, and service continuity come first.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, high-availability systems
- Own services end-to-end, from design to production support
- Improve system reliability, automation, and operational resilience
- Work closely with product and operations to translate real needs into technical solutions
- Support and mentor other engineers

Additional Information
This role supports MENA Assistance platforms and operations. Employment will be through the Group’s technology entity.

Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software engineering roles
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant field
- Strong experience building and supporting production systems
- Solid backend engineering background (.NET, C#, APIs)
- Hands-on enterprise-grade modern applications with JS front ends, Event management system with Integrations and APIs orchestration
- Thorough knowledge and experience of using design patterns and the frameworks implementing them
- Extensive application of database related skills along with industry standard ORM tools within applications
- Experience with cloud and containerised environments
- Some experience with architecting complex, distributed, flexible and easy to maintain solutions
- Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 and application of secure development practices
- Practical, ownership-driven approach to design and engineering
- Sound judgement when working on live, service-critical systems
