Job description / Role
A global logistics and shipping company is expanding their digital footprint and looking for Full stack engineers to build applications for multiple projects.
The function will be part of the Architecture & Development department, whose mission is to build or configure, maintain, enhance, and eventually decommission applications through their life cycle. The overall goal for the role is to focus on designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining the company's applications. This role is also accountable for any production issues and will have to debug/troubleshoot and fix the problems.
PRINCIPAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES AND CURRENT OBJECTIVES
- Front End Development - Development of web applications front end with HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Angular/React
- Backend Development - Strong knowledge in building application backend using C#. Working experience with Cosmos DB/any other Document DB, good database knowledge and database programming skills, ability to write good REST APIs, Familiar with microservice architecture. Good understanding of SOLID design principles and design patterns
- Testing - Unit testing & developer testing before the QA deployment
- Support - User support and provide technical solutions
Requirements
MINIMUM TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Programming experience: .NET, .Net Core C#, JavaScript/typescript, Web API, Angular or React, MS SQL Server, GIT, Bitbucket, Azure, DevOps experience
- Working experience in an organisation primarily using agile development methodologies or similar knowledge
- 6+ experience in: Software design/development, application architecture, software integration, and automated software testing
