Job description / Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Review of the GL and prepare various journal entries and assist in the periodic closing of books as per accounting standards.
• Complete review of Oracle entities TB and submit preliminary analysis for review.
• Monthly/quarterly reporting in FCCS which includes TB Upload, journal submission and entity promotion.
• Prepare quarterly notes to the financial statement and analytics in FCCS.
• Preparation of the Budget Update for review (including reconciliation as well as contingency allocations).
• Performance of Actual vs. Budget analysis for OPEX/CAPEX and preparation of Dashboard Commentaries
• Prepare quarterly/yearly consolidated group notes for Mubadala Group.
• Liaison with Internal and External Auditors for the supporting documents.
• Responsible for the cash call coding.
• Responsible for Contract coding before uploading to the system.
• Responsible for the creation of oracle entity and ICP code.
• Prepare and update standard operating procedures and Desktop procedures, as deemed necessary.
• Responsible for the retention & accurate filing of accounting documents to ensure that the legal and MIC BMS requirements & guidelines are met.
• Maintain accurate electronic and manual filing systems and records that provide ease of retrieval and audit logs.
• Respond to queries raised by Notes reviewers and internal/external auditors.
• Liaison with operating investees for adhoc requests and compilation of information requested by regulatory authorities (i.e SCAD, ESR).
• Compiling ICFR documents requested by clients or auditors.
• Handle other ADHOC reports and tasks as per Management requests.

Requirements:
Qualification details:
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Operations or Accounting.
• Relevant professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA is a must.
• Leadership skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
