Description:
- Residential facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), catering for both Adult and Paediatric patients with Intellectual Disabilities of varying severities, such as Movement Disorders and Chromosome Disorders.
- Purpose of the role: Overall responsibility for ensuring safe, effective, age and specialty appropriate patient care is delivered according to the Nursing Scope of Practice, as defined by the regulatory body in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Responsible for Managing and leading a team of nursing staff.

Working Hours:
- 48 per week

Requirements

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited program (Adult and/or Paediatric) (Essential)
- Postgraduate training in related fields. either clinical or administrative (Preferred)

License:
- Department of Health (DOH) License UAE, or transferable UAE license (DHA/HAAD) as a Registered Nurse OR home country license, eligible for DOH License, UAE

Preferred experience:
- Minimum 5 years' post-graduation experience in settings including in-patient/long-term residential/community care (adult and/or paediatric)
- Experience with a neurologically impaired population with some experience in the handling of cognitively and behaviorally-challenged patients (adults and/or paediatrics), with degrees of physical limitations
- Experience as shift coordinator
- Experience in Leadership and mentoring
- Experience in performance appraisal, competency assessment and performance development
