Senior Steel Structure Engineer

Job description / Role

Guildhall is looking for a Senior Structural Steel Engineer in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural steel design, fabrication, and erection, with a strong understanding of international standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee structural steel projects from design to execution.
- Perform structural analysis, calculations, and design using relevant software.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material specifications, and engineering documents.
- Ensure quality control and safety standards are met on-site.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving solutions during construction.

Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in structural steel engineering (must provide proof of experience, such as employment certificates, reference letters, or project portfolios).
- Strong knowledge of steel structures, fabrication, and erection processes.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (AISC, BS, Eurocodes, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
